State Services Supervisor
Job Qualifications
Candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in social work or a related field. In addition, candidates must have at least 3 years of experience working with at risk children and families.
This position has the responsibility of carrying out all duties assigned by the State Services Coordinator. These duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitate weekly face-to-face supervision for field employees and provide effective, efficient supervision.
- Supervise and direct field staff within the State programs.
- Ensure all cases are assigned in an efficient and timely manner.
- Delegate necessary tasks to the field staff to maintain a high level of service delivery to clientele.
- Ensure field staff is working the authorized hours and obtain additional hours as needed.
- Coverage for State staff employees when necessary.
- Supervise a FS/VS case load (FTE of 6-12:1) when necessary and conduct the necessary field observations one to five (1-5)/week (depending on the number of employees within the group).
- Maintain knowledge of State contracts for relaying information to field staff.
- Enforce compliance with NHHS for State programs.
- Enforce field staff's job descriptions and Visinet, Inc.'s Employee Manual.
- Adhere to contractual changes to provide the most appropriate level of care to clients and families.
- Problem-solve crisis situations.
- Provide crisis management between employees, foster parent. caretakers, biological parents and referral sources as necessary.
- Participate in the interview process as requested by State Services Coordinator.
- Participate in the disciplinary/termination process of employees.
- Provide training to employees on a rotated schedule as determined by the State Services Coordinator.
- Assess appropriateness of on-going service training and modify curriculum when necessary.
- Enforce annual in-service obligations for all staff.
- Complete 8 hours of Mandt training
- Complete CPR training or recertification for CPR training.
- Update program operating procedures up on the request of the State Services Coordinator.
Pay and Benefits
The average starting salary for this position is $27,000. Additional compensation may be applicable based upon educational and professional experience. The full-time benefits for an individual in this position are outlined in the Employee Manual.
