Safety and In-Home Services Director - Content Section 1 (ID:165)

To fill the position of Safety and In-Home Services Director, qualified candidates will posses a Master's Degree in Human Services or Business Administration.   The Safety and In-Home Services Director is supervised by the Chief Operating Officer.   The Chief Operating Officer will assign duties which may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide coverage for program coordinators when necessary.
  • Meet weekly with the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Meet weekly with coordinators in all three regions.
  • Responsible for supervising fostercare coordinators/program in home and sattelite office.
  • Delegate necessary tasks to coordinators statewide.
  • Adhere to Family Centered Practice at all times.
  • Enforce the Employee Manual and program specific manuals with all staff and ensure that staff are meeting all requirements of their respective job descriptions.  
  • Maintain a standard of 100% productivity throughout the workday.
  • Remain within the chose EBP/PP models.
  • Enforce all contract stipulations throughout the company and provide training and education to staff on the contracts when necessary.
  • Consistently process alternative ways to increase the utilization of services within the company.
  • Discuss with the COO all liability issues that would affect the company.   
  • Assist in program development, i.e., research community needs, regulations, proposal completion.
  • Assure Foundations Training, program specific training, as well as other required staff training meet current standards and continually strive to make them exceed expectations.
  • Consistently review Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plan and make sure that all it is being carried out within the program on a daily basis by all employees. 
  • Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards are maintained throughout the program. 

 The beginning pay rate for this position is $46,000. Additional compensation may be applicable based upon educational and professional experience.
