QA Specialist - Content Section 1 (ID:178)
Bachelor's degree preferred. Post-graduate work a plus. A minimum of three years QA experience, as well as, demonstrated experience with the child welfare system. This position has the responsibility of carrying out all duties assigned by the Safety and In Home Services Director concerning services. This position provides guidance and assistance to all staff as well as develops, implements and monitors continuous organizational and performance improvement. The following are examples of duties included within this position:
- Participate in special projects and meet deadlines as assigned by upper administration.
- Assure all subcontractors are in compliance with contractual guidelines.
- Track utilization of each of the eleven service arrays of the Safety and In Home Services contract.
- Obtain, track, and request all re/authorizations for all Safety and In Home Services Provided.
- Assist in the development of new techniques and methods to improve efficiency and efficacy of QA operations.
- Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards are maintained throughout the agency.
- Consistently review Continuous Quality Improvement plan and make sure that all it is being carried out within the agency on a daily basis by all employees.
- Adhere to the strict confidentiality policies indicated in the Employee Manual, as well as, all other policies and procedures.
The beginning pay rate for this position is $13.46 but is negotiable based upon educational and professional experience. Full time benefits for an individual in this position are outlined in the Employee Manual.
