Visinet believes that working with the entire family within their natural environment is essential. Service design must be individually tailored, based on youth and family needs, in order to implement the most effective and efficient supports. Visinet stresses the need for culturally competent professionals who have the ability to assess families within their own cultural and social environment. We believe that youth and families involved in child welfare and behavioral health services will best succeed within a framework of respect, accountability and open communication.
