Definition?
Individual and/or family therapy is provided as an outpatient/in-home service offered to Medicaid, Nebraska Health and Human Services (NHHS)/Integrated Care Coordination Unit (ICCU) and Region consumers. Private and Third Party Insurance funding is also accepted in circumstances of availability of participating providers.
The intensity is determined by the therapist in conjunction with Visinet, Inc.?s clinical director and the establishment of medical necessity.
Clients who need a psychiatric evaluation for possible psychotropic medication intervention will be referred to Visinet, Inc.?s Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
Clients can also be referred to this program for psychological testing. These services include assessments of psychological functioning, intelligence, academic achievement, and drug and alcohol use. Information obtained during these evaluations is summarized in a comprehensive report that details the results of testing with recommendations based on the referral question. In addition to an assessment of psychological functioning, more intensive therapeutic treatment and residential placement can also be determined.
Weekly supervision between the therapist and Visinet, Inc.?s clinical director occurs to monitor the client?s progress and barriers to overall functioning. The clinical director provides the therapist with suggested interventions to assist the client/family with attaining their treatment goals more effectively and efficiently.
