Job Qualifications

A qualified candidate for this position will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, or a related field, a license (or provisional license) as a Mental Health Practitioner in the State of Nebraska as well as 2+ years experience working with at risk families. The IFP Coordinator assigns duties which may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Individualize IFP case assignment to ensure the most appropriate and successful matches. 
  • Ensure all IFP cases are contacted with twenty-four to forty-eight (24-48) hours after receiving the referral. 
  • Delegate necessary tasks to the program therapists and skill builders
  • Supervise an IFP caseload, when necessary, and conduct/enforce the necessary field observations. 
  • Assign client caseloads to appropriate staff members in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining acceptable full time equivalent rations of six to ten to one (6-10:1) depending on the phase of the client. 
  • Cover for any program employees when necessary. 
  • Maintain licensing with the appropriate entities (State of Nebraska) and compliance with Nebraska Medicaid and other funding sources as appropriate.  
  • Obtain and maintain contract information and keep the contract current at all times. 
  • Endure the IFP contract guidelines, as well as the contact hours per phase of the 15-week program are maintained. 
  • Enforce all staff's job descriptions and Visinet, Inc.'s Employee Manual and initiate appropriate disciplinary procedures as necessary. 
  • Provide crisis management for staff as needed. 
  • Problem-solve crisis situations in an efficient and effective manner. 
  • Participate in the interview process and implement creative recruiting techniques of staff to keep program at the highest level of quality and competitive at all times. 
  • Complete the necessary documentation for new IFP clients and coordinate with the referral sources as necessary. 
  • Assist in the termination process of employees. 
  • Complete 8 hours of Mandt training
  • Complete CPR training or recertification for CPR training.
  • Collaborate with the clinical director on all clinical issues related to clients and the clinical service provision performed by staff. 
  • Coordinate training of employees and provide on-going training as necessary. 
  • Assess appropriateness of on-going training and modify curriculum as necessary. 
  • Enforce accountability among staff members and adherence to the Employee Manual as well as following the emergency protocol for suicide/homicide, abuse/neglect and other potential safety issues. 
  • Ensure that staff is maintaining clinically appropriate interventions with their clients at all times. 
  • Assist in coordinating staff on-call schedule.
     

The average starting salary for this position is $31,000.00.  Additional compensation may be applicable based upon educational and professional experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits outlined in the Employee Manual.
