Escort/Transportation Coordinator - Content Section 1 (ID:142)
A candidate for the position of Escort Supervisor must possess a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field as well as at least 3 years experience working with at risk children and families. The Chief Operating Officer will assign duties which may include but are not limited to the following:
- Complete CPR training or recertification for CPR training.
- Conduct monthly Medicaid eligibility checks on all clients to ensure the funding of cases is current.
- Supervise and direct supervisory staff within the Escort/Transportation program.
- Delegate necessary tasks to the program supervisor.
- Provide coverage for all program employees as necessary.
- Assign staff and distribute cases on an individual basis while maintaining equitable ratios.
- Maintain all staffs FTE requirements;12-15:1 for escort supervisor
- Obtain and maintain contract information for relaying information to staff and keeping the contracts current at all times.
- Enforce compliance with Nebraska Health and Human Services (NHHS) contract for all state programs.
- Enforce all staff's job descriptions and Visinet, Inc.'s Employee Manual, as well as backups for every state program.
- Adhere to contractual changes to provide the most appropriate level of care to clients and families.
- Problem-solve crisis issues.
- Participate in the interview process and implement creative recruiting techniques to keep the program at the highest level of quality at all times.
- Participate in the termination of employees.
- Coordinate training of employees in collaboration with CTA Coordinator and provide training when necessary.
- Assess appropriateness of on-going service training and modify curriculum when necessary.
- Enforce annual in-service obligations for all staff.
- Complete 8 hours of Mandt training
- Complete CPR training or recertification for CPR training.
- Develop and maintain a rotating on-call schedule for staff and enforce appropriately.
- Periodically review and updated program operating procedures as necessary.
The average starting salary for this position is $30,000.00. Additional compensation may be applicable based upon educational and professional experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits as outlined in the Employee Manual.
