Employment Qualifications
The following are considered the minimum qualifications for the most frequently applied for positions within the agency. Extended consideration will be given to those individuals who exceed these minimums. All applicants will be subject to criminal background checks and driving record checks.
Visitation Specialist, Family Support Worker, Crisis Intervention Specialist, Escort/Transportation Specialists
- Two years of college credit in social work or a related field and/or 2 years experience working with at risk children and families.
Community Treatment Aides
- Bachelors degree in social work or related field plus 2 years of experience working with at risk children and families. Additional experience may replace some educational requirements
Therapists
- Must have a provisional mental health license in State of Nebraska. Additionally, the therapist must be an authorized Medicaid and Magellan Behavioral Health provider.
Foster Parents
- Must be able to be licensed in the State of Nebraska with criminal background devoid of any serious offenses.
