Job Qualifications
Individuals qualified for this position will have completed high school and have at least two years administrative assistant experience. The Administrative Assistant Supervisor will assign duties including but not limited to the following:
- Provide coverage for the receptionist and adhere to the protocol set forth in that job description.
- Maintain databases as required.
- General office work including: typing of confidential office reports, letters, memos, sorting, filing, stapling, copying, etc.
- Meet established deadlines as outlined by supervisor or program coordinator.
- Assist in obtaining necessary information as requested by the HR department.
- Complete or assist in the completion of the billing/payroll process.
- Copy any necessary documentation as deemed by the specific program coordinator/supervisor.
- Assure all documentation bins are full.
- File all program documentation according to their program timeline.
- Adhere to the strict confidentiality policies indicated in the Employee Manual, as well as, all of the other policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development of new techniques and methods to improve efficiency and efficacy of operations.
- Develop safeguards to prevent repeat errors and educate staff members.
- Participate in special projects and meet deadlines as assigned by the coordinator/supervisor...
- Consistently review Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plan and make sure that all it is being carried out within the agency on a daily basis by all employees.
- Ensure that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards are maintained throughout the agency.
- Maintain a standard of 100% productivity throughout the workday.
- Provide coverage on a rotational basis for the Visitation Center Attendant if needed (this includes possible evenings and Saturday hours).
The average starting pay for this position is $11.00 hr. Additional compensation may be applicable based upon educational and professional experience. Prior to employment, the CEO and CFO will negotiate any increase in the starting wage. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits as outlined in the Employee Manual.
